Here is an excellent example of a 1948 F-1 custom street rod pickup. This truck is as fine as they come. The exterior two toned blue and silver finish is immaculate. The custom striping adds a great touch to the overall appearance. The power tonneau cover is just what you would expect out of a truck of this magnitude. Inside the bed area is top of the line with stained wood floor slats and superb blue finish to match the exterior. The tailgate latches are on the inside for a slick exterior look. Inside the cab is very classy, yet comfortable. You have a custom leather bench seat, padded leather door panels, a GM tilt column and padded Lacarra steering wheel. The dash is made up of Auto Meter gauges with a woodgrain surround, an Alpine am/fm/cd stereo, and matching blue finished metal. You will notice that the top has been chopped 2" for a much nicer look. Under the hood is a 1980 Mustang 302ci engine, bored .030 with an Edelbrock Performer Cam, Edelbrock Performer chrome intake manifold, Edelbrock 600 CFM chrome carburetor, Accel 52201 Billet Performance Electronic Breakerless Distributor, factory Mustang headers, aluminum radiator, Billet Serpentine Belt system with a polished AC compressor and chrome alternator, chrome air cleaner and chrome valve covers. This engine compartment is detailed perfectly. The transmission is a Ford Automatic Overdrive-A0D. It has a Mustang 8” rear end with 4 link and coilover shocks. The chassis is a boxed frame with additional cross members, Fatman Stage III front end with Carrera coilover shocks, 2” dropped spindles, Mustang II power rack and pinion, and power front disc brakes. It has an 18 gallon Poly fuel tank and Flowmaster dual exhaust from the headers back. The wheels are 15x8 American Racing and the tires are 235/60/R15 on the front and 275/60/R15 on the rear. Other notable features include cruise control, two speed windshield wipers, and a brand new heat/ac system. This truck is absolutely awesome in person. You will love the way it performs!
