The final year for the super 8 engine 130 HP was 1939.nbsp; The body styles went from 15 to 6 to chase from in 1939, like the junior Packard the super 8 head a column mounted gear shift with optional overdrive.nbsp; Columbia heads were now all cast iron, andnbsp;the super 8 had 10 more horse power than the junior Packard.nbsp; They werenbsp; a wonderful driving tour car with plenty of power.nbsp; This model 1703 was restored est. 20 years ago from an excellent original survivor.nbsp; The exterior is clad in wine maroon with tan leather interiornbsp;thats innbsp;good condition, and the chrome is very good.nbsp; The engine was recently tuned, and runs and drives with plenty of life and very smooth.nbsp; While the body is excellentnbsp;and straight with good fit, the paint is lacquer with cracks and isnbsp;presentablenbsp;at 20 feet.nbsp; This Packard just completed a 200 mile caravan.nbsp; Complete video of this vehicle available for $50, refunded with vehicle purchase, and includes overnight shipping of video.nbsp; Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
