1973 MUSTANG MACH 1 Q-CODE COBRA JET
Cobra Jet is Ford's catchword for performance. While most of us apply the term to the tire-smoking big-blocks of the '68-'71 era, the Q-code 351 four-barrel, commonly called the 351 Cobra Jet, took over the reigns as the hottest engine in the Mustang stable for 1973.
The '73 MACH 1 you see here is an original Q-Code Cobra Jet car that left the factory with a 4-speed Top Loader transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power disk brakes, front/rear spoilers and Ram Air Hood!
This rust free "Western" dry climate car (with original steel) has been nicely restored and includes:
Blueprinted and balanced 429 Cobra Jet engine
C6 Automatic transmission
Posi rear
Subframe connectors
All new interior including headliner.
Crack free dash!
New door seals, window felts, and scrapers
New wheels and tires
This beautiful Mustang is comfortable, fast, and gets a thumbs up and a wave everywhere it goes! Perfect for turn-key or show car. The Dash has been replaced and has a verified FL re-issue VIN that reads H code (incorrect) 71-73 had the vin attached to the dash. Build Tag + Door + Fender Frame matching numbers. Engine + Transmission not matching. This vehicle does have a no past rebuilt title because of the modifications made. Please inquire to see extra dash. For full asking price we will include an Extra Full Ram Air Assembly. This Classic is not currently equiped with A/C.
