1993 marked the 90th year Anniversary for Cadillac and it was also the last year for the luxury 2 seater. This is the year Cadillac introduced the Northstar V8 engine which powered all Allante convertibles. The Allante sported a new look for 1993 with a new front fascia spoiler, new one-piece side window glass that offered improved sound and weather sealing, headlight washers, outside electric heated rearview mirrors with foldaway and blue tinted glass.. Also new for 1993 was the Pass Key II anti theft system.
This 1993 Allante is Pearl Red and one of the new factory clearcoat paint colors offered that year. The paint is sharp and still in excellent condition. The Pearl Red color is really stunning. The black power top is in new excellent working condition.
The leather interior is sharp and in excellent shape. The instrument panel features electronic instruments which was an option for that year. All interior trim and components are excellent. The Nuance leather trimmed seats were designed to provide orthopedic support and have an eight way power seats with four way lumbar control.
Engine is the original Northstar 4.6 liter V8 with te 4T80-E electronically controlled 4 speed automatic transmission. The console had a redesign for 1993 that included a transmission shift selector that was slightly offset 20 degrees towards the driver for ease of shifting.
The Allante came fully loaded with options such as heated outside mirror, power top, power door mirrors, windows speed control, automatic climate control, memory seats, ignition disable, auto-leveling suspension, front fog lights, and CD/Cassette player.
Miles on this Cadillac Allante are 39,800 actual miles. This car is an excellent survivor car in above average condition. It is a great collector car to own now and in the future. Located in NC.
