2012 McLaren MP4-12C Coupe VIN: SBM11AAA1CW000614 One of one, custom built MP4-12C When you have a collection of cars like those housed here at Canepa there is very little reason to go out and buy a brand new car. It would have to be something special to outshine the thrill of a 959, 288GTO or XJ220. But something did grab Bruce Canepas interest, the McLaren MP4-12C. Custom built at Bruces request, there is no other MP4-12C quite like this one. His goal was to create a car with the highest level of performance, lightest weight, and a stealth look. First off the car was ordered with a bespoke, special order, non-metallic black paint that gives this supercar a truly menacing look. The next custom request was to paint the front splitter, rear diffuser, engine bay panels, and wheels in matching bespoke graphite. McLaren went out of their way to assist Bruce in getting the custom-made interior just the way he wanted it. Starting with beautiful Harissa red leather, the standard limited leather coverage was expanded to completely cover the dash, center console, arm rests, door inserts, and all of the seating surfaces.
