In 1976 Volkswagen made only minor changes to the already popular and solid Beetle. The car was now fully carpeted, and came with a rear window defroster and special metallic paint in addition to other standard paint colors. The front seats were redesigned for improved comfort, and the adjustments for the seat backs were improved as well. Also, the Super Beetle was discontinued.
This Beetle comes with an air-cooled, rear-mounted, fuel-injected four-cylinder engine that generates 58 horsepower. A four-speed manual transmission, dual braking system, four-wheel independent suspension, and a flow-through ventilation system are also part of the package.
Standard features for the Beetle included seat belts for the driver and passengers, two-speed windshield wipers with a pneumatic washer system, swiveling sun visors, coat hooks, assist straps, folding rear seats, and luggage space under the front hood and in a three-foot carpeted compartment behind the rear seats.
This bug has been redone with slick looking vinyl seats. Lime green with black trim perfectly accents this suprisingly spacious interior. You can very easily fit four adults in this beetle. Customized easy to use steering wheel. Headliner is new and with no sagging. Low miles with only 57,712. Four Speed Manual with reverse is very smooth shifting and has a responsive clutch. We can not emphasize how custom this interior is; including the mounted drinking parrot and miniture version of this Beetle next to the rear window speakers. For your additional comfort a Breezeasy A/C is included mounted underneath the dash.
VR3 Aftermarket stereo with "Dual" Brandname speakers mounted in the rear as well as inside the trunk for the ultimate tailgating experience. Accenting the lights are the bug's "eyes" as an exterior customization.
