1971 Sunflower Yellow with a Tan Interior Corvette Coupe #’s Matching “Survivor Candidate”. This Corvette is a perfect example of an original no hit body car. This car has perfect lines and gaps. The Sunflower Yellow paint is all Lacquer paint and is original paint. From our extensive research on C3 Corvettes, especially 1971, these cars didn’t have perfect paint off the line and were sent back through to be painted. This particular car has all the signs of original paint with some factory repaint. The paint looks perfect in the pictures and when you get close to the car you can see typical crazing, and it’s most evident on the driver’s door. All the original weather stripping is on the car with original stickers inside the driver’s door and on the firewall. Under the hood it’s all original minus the distributor and we have the original tach drive distributor with cable, shielding, and the original starter this car was born with. The Tan interior is in excellent condition with all the original gauges and original radio. The door panels, dash, and seats are clean in excellent condition. The frame is completely rust free as are the windshield posts. Mechanically this car runs strong, and we did have to put 4 new brake calipers and a master cylinder on the car. Factory options include; Sunflower Yellow Paint, Tan Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, 350ci 270hp Original engine, Original Automatic Transmission, White Letter Tires, AM-FM Stereo, and a Factory Alarm System. This car has its original jack tools in the car. Everything does work on the car, the headlights and wiper door, the radio and the gauges. This Corvette is perfect for the purest who likes and unmolested Corvette and good for the Corvette enthusiast who wants a solid original car that runs and drives and is a turn key car.
