This is not the show-driver or concours example you expect to see from us. It is a perfectly respectable driver-quality street rod. Under the hood you will find a tuned port injection 350CID V-8 engine mated to a turbo 3-speed automatic transmission. Power disc/drum brakes ensure solid stops and the manual steering is surprisingly easy. The underside is solid and finished consistent with a driver. All the electrics including aftermarket A/C are in correct working order. The car’s fiberglass body is in good condition with no significant blemishes. The hood and front fenders operate as one and tilt forward. The burgundy paint is smooth and glossy. The chrome is nicely polished and in very nice condition with the exception of some deterioration on the side-pipe covers. The wheels are gorgeous as is the highly reflective firewall. The interior is basic and dressed in black vinyl and cloth. The back seat is a tight fit for anyone other than small kids. The trunk provides plenty of room for storing enough for a long weekend trip. The front split bench seat provides plenty of room for grown-ups. Tilt steering provides a bit of extra room and the VDO gauges supply all the needed information. The modern AM/FM/CD unit sounds good and all the controls including the A/C are easy to reach.
