This is not a restored car, it is a maintained driver. Is driven every week. Power windows , seats, ac , power locks, autronic eye automatic headlight dimmer, factory foglights signal seek radio . Mary Kay pink with a red and white interior. Cali car, no rust. Excellent original chrome, glass and stainless.I have owned since April of 2011. It has complete new exhaust front to back, all new shocks, new belts, hoses, brake hoses and brake system flush, rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, new battery and pos cable, rebuilt original starter, replaced oil pan gasket, front cover gasket, valve cover gaskets. Engine was clean inside when i had the oil pan off. New water pump. Rebuilt heater valve, new blower motor. Repacked front wheel bearings, new wheel seals at all wheels. I pulled all drums and all shoes and drums were like new. Adjusted all brakes. All fluids changed, complete service on car . All work performed by myself. It runs and drives great, very reliable. I have put 1,300 miles on it since September of 2011. It starts instantly hot or cold. Runs just fine on 87 octane, no pinging. Odometer shows 46,048 miles. I do not believe it to be original mileage but it is not 146,048 miles. It does not smoke or rattle, engine is tight and runs great. It is the original engine and trans. I assume it was painted in the late 80s or early 90s during the pink cadillac craze. The paint looks ok, has the usual chips and drips, laid down ok. The interior was most likely done about the same time. It is very clean, shows no wear, has clear plastic seat covers over seats. The car obviously was kept inside its whole life. There is no rust anywhere. Original chrome is in excellent shape. No dents in bumpers. Glass looks like new. Car drives fine. Gets attention anywhere it goes. It has bias tires that are old. Additional info: The car was originally a blueish green color, with i assume a blue interior. The car condition is a 2- to a 3 + . It is not restored , just an original car that was painted pink and had the red and white interior installed to go with the pink. It has later model GM seatbelts. The chrome spear on the lower right front fender is broken in half, also the horn ring on steer wheel is broken but i have the broken half. Both parts are reproduced today, they both are a common problem to 59 cads. The engine compartment is clean but not detailed . The ac is inop , the compressor is bad but all components are there , in place and hooked up. All the work i did to the car was to make it reliable and roadworthy. I had the dash out of it this past winter to repair the heater control valve, all wiring under the dash was in great shape . The heater works very good and will cook you right out. The windshield wipers and all lights work fine. I have a 1959 cadillac shop manual, owners manual and car cover to go with the car. It is a great car to just jump in and go or to maybe restore someday in the future if that is your desire. The code tag on the cowl reads; Trim 47, Paint 29, Accessories EHKNMY. Model 6339. Sorry but I have no history on the car other than it came from cali. I dont know how long it has been in the midwest.Call me to set up appt
