1972 Plymouth Road Runner
GTX with matching numbers 440-4bbl, slapstick automatic with power steering, power disc brakes, 3.23 Sure Grip rear end and the very RARE option POWER SUNROOF!!! Car also has power windows, fully operational air conditioning, restored factory AM/FM Cassette and rear defogger. The car also has Rally gauges with factory tach, tuff steering wheel, tinted glass, bucket seats, front and rear sway bars, 15X7 Rally wheels and re-chromed rear bumper. Very rare TX9 Black exterior paint code with new factory black interior and new black vinyl headliner. This car has dual painted mirrors, wheel opening moldings, light group, and California Emissions. This car is one of 34 Road Runner GTXs with a power sunroof. Fender tag, door jamb decal and all body numbers match. This was a lifelong Southern California car through 2004. It made a brief stop in Ohio before I purchased it in the fall of 2005 and brought it to Connecticut where it has been garaged since.
I have maintenance receipts since car was new. It has new tires, brakes, wires, cap, rotor, water pump, thermostat, alternator, fuel pump, starter, radiator, belts, hoses, rebuilt carburetor, PCV valve and pressure sending unit, vapor separator, intake gasket, valve cover gaskets, points, battery, washer bottle, coolant recovery bottle, dual exhaust with H-Pipe, Flow master 40 Series mufflers, machine gun tips, emblems, decals, powder coated air cleaner assembly. Engine Compartment is completely detailed. The car is completely rewired with new fuel tank with powder clear coat, and front end parts. Trunk is completely detailed with new mat and factory spare tire and jack.
Runs and drives great! No rust anywhere. All original sheet metal and new clear coat in 1990. This car was driven to many car shows in New England and has won first place many times. Its a show stopper! Serious buyers only can call my cell with questions. No trades.
