This 1968 Chrysler Newport Convertible has that low slung look that makes you feel like you are one with the wind. You can see the wind flowing over the car and around you as you enjoy the sun on your face. The mechanicals of this car are very good. It has the original 383 Cubic Inch V8 and is a matching numbers car. All of the major systems work well, including the lights, signals, heat, and overall things in the car just feel good. It starts right up, idles nicely, the transmission shifts nicely, and the tops works automatically and as intended. The interior is in good and passable condition, the leather seats have some minor wear but no rips, tears, or creases. The seats feel good and the rear seats have little to no wear. This is truly a 4 seat car where you can take the whole family. The body is also in very good to condition. There is no major rust, rot, holes, or other issues that need immediate repair. There are some minor cracks in the paint, some minor bubbles, and minor nicks but overall the paint looks good. Could you repaint for a show car? Of course. Why do this? Just drive it and enjoy it.
