1972 Chevrolet Nova
396 V-8, 5-Speed
"The 1972 Chevrolet Nova was available as a 2-door coupe or a 4-door sedan. Pricing began at $2,375 for the coupe and $2,400 for the sedan. There were virtually no changes to the 1972 Nova over the former 1971 model, except that the 1972 version now had indented license plate housing on the front bumper. There was also a slight bevel on the hood. There were several mechanical changes to the 1972 Nova, with perhaps the most devastating being the loss of its high-performance hardware. The base engine was the 250 cubic-inch six-cylinder unit which offered 110 horsepower. A 307 cubic-inch V8 was available and featured a two-barrel carburetor and produced 130 horsepower. A 350 cubic-inch V8 was also available, offering 245 horsepower."

This example is a beautiful professional restoration of an original Chevrolet Nova with SS emblems added, (THIS IS NOT A GENUINE SS) completed in 2009. Please let all the pictures load (there are over 130) to see the outstanding condition of this classic Chevy. Laser straight body along with mirror finish paint, you really have to see the car in person, the pictures do not do it justice. This is one of the rare cars that actually look better in person than in the pictures. The odometer shows 48,000 miles and is belived to be correct, but is sold as mileage exempt because of the age. According to the owner, this car started life in Oregon as a rust free, standard Nova with the 307 V-8 engine. The 307 is long gone and has been replaced with a completely rebuilt 396 with some performance upgrades. The car was professionally repainted base coat/clear coat, the interior has been redone and the undercarriage has been refurbished as new. Rounding out the package are the great looking 15" Torque Thrust wheels. What follows are some of the details on the car.
