Description

This isnt your everyday 1946 Ford! This classic has just received a tune up where every component was gone through piece by piece to ensure it is running right. Over $4,000 was invested to transform an already good running car into a great running car. It is currently in perfect running condition and needs nothing. It starts up smooth, has no oil leaks, and runs like a champ. Interestingly enough, the car is currently owned buy a NSRA safety inspector who insured this classic is as nice as described. It just received the 23 point award after being fully inspected inside and out. This 2 door coupe has great bodylines and is coated in beautiful bright red paint. The car just had a meticulous repaint of the front end to eliminate any road rash that was present. In fact, every component was just gone through and freshened up and the car is really now in immaculate condition with no road rash or rock chips. The windshield was also replaced and is entirely chip/scratch free. The vent windows have been removed with custom 1 piece side glass. All of the trim and bumpers are in great condition and need no work. The bumpers have been smoothed and are entirely bolt free with custom studs welded to the back side. It is a steel body car with NOS fenders and there are zero patch panels. It has a great stance and sits on classic polished American Racing Salt Flat Special wheels which are perfect for this car. The 350 V8 with throttle body injection runs smoothly and with zero issues. It has lots of chrome and is topped with an old school style painted to match 1953 Cadillac air cleaner which was modified to accept a late model paper air filter. The car always run nice and cool with the Walker aluminum radiator. It has custom inner fenders and a custom Bitching recessed firewall. The 700R4 transmission is one of the best on the market and shifts smoothly with a Jegs transmission adjustable lock up control. Other drive train components include the limited slip Ford 8 rear end (3:55 gears), rear adjustable leaf springs with Bilstein shocks, front sway bar, and front adjustable coil over shocks. The completely rebuilt power disc brakes (disc-front, drum-rear) stop this classic with ease. It utilizes a Corvette brake booster and master cylinder. The power rack and pinion steering just makes this car even more enjoyable to drive. An added feature includes a battery disconnect to both save the battery and for extra security. With a new Optima battery, a new Gear Reduction Starter and a new 200 amp alternator, the electrical system is kept in good operating order. The suspension system is all top of the line with a Heidts Super Ride front end with new coil over springs. The dark gray leather interior is extremely comfortable and was very well done. The drivers and passengers bucket seats (with headrests) are power operated. The front seats have been moved 4 to improve driver comfort when cruising down the road. A custom center console is in place and have cup holders as well as the power window controls for the specialty power windows. Electric door locks are in place which utilize Dakota Digital Solenoid. A nicely painted tilt steering column has just been added and is topped with a billet steering wheel. In addition to that a tachometer, seat belts, specialty 2 speed windshield wipers were also just added! The air conditioner blows cold and the heater works just as well. The AM/FM/CD player is in place and sounds great. The white faced gauges are inset into the dash and all function properly. The car comes with a fitted California Car cover and touch up paint. This car has a ton to offer so get it while it is still available. You could not build this quality of a car for the reduced price of only $44,250.00! NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $42,750.00!
