This GT is production number #57 but was the 47th car sold to the public. The first 10 cars were known as test mules and retained by the factory. The first public serial number began with #11. The first 50 production vehicles were evaluated by the same team of engineers that developed the Ford GT. Only the first 50 received this special treatment from the engineering team. This car was evaluated at the Michigan Proving ground. It was sent out from the factory with 78.5 miles. Imagine a production car getting that much focus and attention before it was cleared to leave the factory! This is one special car. Options are McIntosh AM/FM with single CD Light Weight Forged Aluminum wheels Red Painted Brake Caliper and Painted Racing stripes. Goodman Racing designed the special racing harnesses for the car. This GT has the factory replacement of the steering arms and oil lines and comes with all factory documentation including a photo album of car #57 in the factory at various stages of the build. Well stored at the Sun Valley Auto Club. We are saddened to see one of our flagship cars on the market this wonderful car has brightened the eyes of all who have even stood next to it.
