The car is powered by a 400 CID V8 engine that has been bored .040 over and has a mild camshaft. Putting the power to the wheels is a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Speaking of wheels, the Mercurys wheels are painted in the sunburst scheme and wide white wall radial tires are wrapped around them.
