1966 Ford Thunderbird For Sale in our Chicago Showroom. This 66 Ford is numbers matching, with 131,000 total miles and only 5000 on the engine rebuild. The engine is a Ford 390 Interceptor, which has a Jasper replacement/rebuilt short block, 10:1 compression heads and the current owner runs 87 octane with no issues, performance cam (1 over stock specs), MSD ignition with a 6AL spark box and matching High Energy Coil, Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor, Edelbrock intake, dual exhaust, and an electric cooling fan. The transmission and rear end are stock. The current owner, which has owned this for the last 17 years, added an aftermarket cruise control setup that works. The A/C is complete and holds a charge for a while but it currently needs a recharge. The body is a clean solid body, and the paint is a Chevy blue. If the owner can find the fender skirts they will be included. They are painted and match the car.
