The 1966 Dodge Charger is one of those cars that makes you smile, then it starts up and the smile turns into a toothy grin from ear to ear! This car has a 1968 383 4 barrel combination and it runs great with a super clean body. The mechanicals on this car a very good, with power steering, factory power brakes, a dash in good shape, the floor console shifter, and the overall sporty look of the fastback with a good engine and transmission to match. Start her up, ease the console shifter into place, and off you go with just enough rumble to enjoy, but not enough to give you a headache on long trips. The interior is not bad, yes the two front seats are a mess, but the rest of the car, including the dash is all in very good shape. The rugs, console, steering wheel, and especially the super cool dash are in really good shape. Here is what we are going to do, we are going to cover the front and back seats in BLACK, which will match the rugs, headliner, and dash and will look great. You buy a Charger, you get new seats! The underside of this car is excellent condition, no rust, not rot, no holes, no excuses, simply no issues. The flat black paint is definitely not the original color and we think the car has been Red, Orange, and Purple. There is some minor bubbling in a few spots but nothing to worry about in the next 10 years. Buy it and drive it, paint it someday. In short, one cool Dodge Charger with the good engine and carburetor, it will have new seats, and you can paint it when you want to in whatever color you want.
