Chevelle fans weve got a great one for you here. SS badging, 350 crate power, the rumble of chambered mufflers, great paint and a tidy interior make for a heck of a cruiser! Outside, youll find brand new, smooth and glossy Ascot Blue paint over well prepped flanks. The paint is even more fresh looking in person than it is in pictures-you really cant capture the look with a camera. Its dressed to the nines, but in the same subtle way as the body-orange paint adorns the block but the valve covers and air cleaner are finished in a satin black. Red GMPP spark plug wires add some flash while the Edelbrock Performer intake and carb add power. Long tube headers dump spent gasses into a dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Power steering hangs to the engines side, and a power brake booster was added to reduce effort. A new water pump works with new hoses, a new heater core and a clean radiator to keep temps where you want them. Underneath, all new brakes are at the corners, theres a new fuel sending unit in the tank and offset control arm bushings in the arms for better handling. A dead reliable Turbo 350 transmission sends power back to a gas miser 10 bolt stuffed with 2.73 gears-youre road trip ready and bound to get damn good mileage. Brand new 15-inch Chevy rally wheels are wrapped in equally new 245/60R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/As. The floors and frame are blacked out for low maintenance, and their solid condition is evident in the pictures. Overall, this was a clean chassis that got exactly what it needed to keep going for another 40 years. If youre looking for a great cruiser, youll need an intermediate muscle car.
