Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present this Carroll Shelby Continuation Series 6000 Cobra, numbered CSX6066. Since the unfortunate passing of Mr. Shelby, the market has recognized the strong collector value of these timeless classics. Especially in this case since our particular example happens to carry an iconic American designation “#66” which makes it even more special.
Our #66 has never been titled, and is a “Roller” which still needs engine and transmission selection and installation. It is fully documented - with a copy of the original MSO, and Factory Build Sheet signed by Carroll Shelby. The glove compartment door is also signed.
A very important distinction of these Continuation Series cars is that they are titled as a 1965 vehicle, which puts them in far less restricted class with regards to registration, license, emissions, insurance, and foreign export.
This beautiful machine can be purchased as is, or Brighton Motorsports can skillfully complete the selection and installation of the engine and transmission based on buyer preferences. Options start at a 427 side-oiler and move up from there. Transmission can be a top-loader close, or wide ratio, or 5 speed.
