That meant a new body, new chassis, new suspension, and new engine, in an integrated design. Trunk space grew larger. DeVilles gave more rear leg/headroom and also wore a new horizontal crosshatch grille with four horizontal and nine vertical divider bars.This gave the whole front end a wide, uniform appearance that flowed into the side panels. In sum, it carried on the traditional Cadillac look. Bodies had full rear wheel openings and vertical tail lamps.The newer cars were downsized in proportions as well as engine displacement, a true zeitgeist of the late 1970s.However, despite the downsizing, in the comfort and luxury department, Cadillac stayed true to its heralded reputation and a top-of-the-line marquee.Originally sold in Burlingame, California, this Naples Yellow survivor car comes to us from its second local owner who purchased it in 2005.When you first see this car in person, you will be shocked at how nicely this coupe Deville has held up over the years.The original 452ci V8 motor still runs strong and has been maintained well by both owners.The odometer reads 47,000 original miles and when you take a look at the condition, you won question it for a second.
