This vehicle is a Custom Built Mini from 1998 with all modern components etc…It is titled a 1961 Austin.
The vehicle was built back in the late 90’s with much of its components from Mini Mania and Assembly by Mini specialist Sean Murray of San Jose. The vehicle has over $60,000 costs into its build with all special high performance goodies. $15,000 for Body and Body Kit sub frames etc… $17,000 spent with Mini Mania, $7,500 Spent with Sean Murphy, $5,000 on Upholstery, $4-5,000 on a top of the line Sound system, over $3,000 in Paint plus additional cost of slight customizing, tuning etc… the cars complete build is close to $60,000 and is in like new condition with only 1200 miles.
The vehicle has undergone some extensive work inside and out…. the engine has been built by Mini Comp Racing to 1380cc with 8.8 to 1 compression, Aluminum Head and produces 116hp, the Transmission is a standard 4 Speed and shifts smooth. The vehicle has front disc brakes and excellent suspension. Given its upgrades this Mini is built to drive and enjoy with some unique extras like a bumping superior sounds system and performance built engine with nearly double the horsepower at 115hp where a standard Mini has only about 63hp. The interior are very stylish and modern with Hand crafted wood veneer in the Fascia, Two-Tone seats that embellishes the sporty ambience of the cabriolet interior.
This Mini Copper is probably one of the finest Custom Mini’s on the market and has had an immense amount of money invested into it. We have all the receipts and the vehicle is like new with only 1200 miles. The vehicle gets allot of attention at car shows and offers the driver a fulfilled day of cruising about.
