1979 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta You have just stumbled across another one of those cars that shows a lot of promise and is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get in the vintage car hobby. It isnt everyday we list cars like this so it is always nice to bring our customers an inexpensive classic that could be driven as is or double as a project car for them or their friends/family. This cool 1979 Camaro has a ton of potential and a look that is all muscle car. The car has had a lot of mechanical restoration completed and now is ready for the cosmetics. All of the body panels are nicely fitted in place and are just needing to be finished out. A large portion of the body is coated white with the front right fender, hood, and spoiler being primered. Orange racing stripes grace the rear deck lid and roof. All of the exterior electrical is working properly with all of the polished bezels in place. The glass is all nicely mounted. The car has a nice solid stance and rides on a set of vintage style American Racing wheels with (front-235/60R15, rear-295/50R15) Cooper Cobra Radial tires. Powering up this classic is a built up 383 stroker motor. It was completely built 4,000 miles ago and delivers plenty of power. It has been fitted with an F.A.S.T. throttle body fuel injection system that is topped with a nice chrome circle air cleaner. The block and heads are all coated a Chevrolet orange with blacked out Edelbrock valve covers. The electrical system works with no issues and the car starts up easily with the MSD ignition system. Being a Camaro you want a great sound when your cruising around so aftermarket headers are in place feeding into the dual exhaust. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic and was entirely rebuilt along with the motor. Other rebuilt components include the entire suspension, power steering system and AC system. Power brakes are also in place with disc up front and drums in rear. The interior of the car is all original and in good condition. A nice original style center console runs between the bucket seats and houses the power window controls and B&M t-handle shifter. The dash is fitted with all of the correct gauges mounted in original style bezels. As you can see this classic has a ton of things to offer.
