So what do you do when you have a clean 1969 GTO Judge with a missing engine? How about stuffing it full of 1969 Ram Air IV, giving it a rotisserie restoration, and going out to stomp some Mustangs? Finished less than 400 miles ago, this is a genuine 1969 GTO Judge, with full documentation courtesy of PHS. With the original engine long gone, the owner figured hed go all-out and rebuilt a brutal 400 cubic inch Ram Air IV lump and stuffed it under the vented hood. Then he added correct Carousel Red paint and original style Judge stripes, but only after the bodywork was smoothed and buffed to perfection. Fit and finish are extremely good, and the two-stage paint is so deep youll have to hold your breath if you get too close. The urethane front bumper fits extremely well, which only happens after hours of intensive hand fitting, and the 69 GTO has to be one of the best-looking muscle cars of all time, especially when its equipped with hidden headlights. All the correct Judge hardware is there, too, including the rear wing wearing its own The Judge decal on top. In person, this is a very impressive car. The full-tilt restoration continued inside, where the original code 258 black bucket seat interior was fully restored to show standards. Correct seat covers, new door panels, and black carpets that fit better than most kits have been installed and look completely unused. This is an original 4-speed car, and that slick center console has been refinished and topped with a Hurst T-handle shifter, and sharp-eyed viewers will also note a factory 8-track player. And as long as you have the car apart, why not add factory-style A/C, complete with an A6 compressor instead of one of those modern units that tend to stand out? A woodgrained wheel gives a good view of the gauges, with the hood-mounted tach up high and out where its directly in your line of sight-too cool. Even the trunk was restored and fitted with a full-size spare tire. Few machines are as feared as the legendary Ram Air IV, complete with high-lift cam and round port heads with oversized valves. Fully rebuilt, it cackles like something that escaped from a cage and pulls the Judge around with effortless ease. Dressed just the way the factory would have done it, theres the oversized air cleaner, lightweight aluminum intake, and deep-breathing 4-barrel carburetor. Also note the original style hoses and clamps and the complete A/C system that uses all period components for a very OEM look. Underneath, its spotlessly assembled, with clean floors, a brand new dual exhaust system with correct mufflers and tips, plus fully rebuilt suspensions fore and aft. Correct Pontiac Rally III wheels without trim rings wear reproduction Firestone Wide Oval tires for a period-perfect look. The ultimate combination of looks and power, all at a price that makes it a car you wont be afraid to drive. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom.
