Up for sale is a beautiful 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe wrapped in Dark Cherry Metallic paint that glimmers in the sun. The interior matches the exterior beautifully. All trim has been removed to give it that sleek smooth look. This 40 has just the right stance. Powered by a 350 engine backed by a 700R4 transmission and a Ford 9 inch (3.90) posi rear end. This combination gives the car performance when driving around town and great cruising down the freeway at low rpms. With all the gauges you will ever need keeping you in touch with the 40. If it starts to rain when you are coming back from a car show the 40 has electric wipers that keep the windshield clear. On those hot days the car has COLD air conditioning along with heat AND defroster. The wiring and plumbing in this car is very sanitary. Nothing is Mickey Mouse about it.

The 40 has power steering to make it easy to park at those car shows and 4 wheel disc power brakes to stop it. Shiny Torque Thrust II wheels wrapped in new BF Goodrich radial TA tires. The trunk is completely finished in same material as passenger compartment. The car has a Big Griffin radiator and transmission cooler to keep the car running cool even in traffic and hot summer days. This 40 does not over heat. The Lokar floor shift makes gear selection easy and the Lokar E-brake holds it in place when parked. The frame is by Southern Hot Rod and not some warmed over 40 frame. This frame was made for the power of a modern engine and the comfort for its passengers. The doors open from the outside by keyless remote. The power windows move up and down easily. The 40 is VERY reliable and will go anywhere. Everything works right on the car right down to the flashers.
