From its first release in 1958 the classic Impala continues to be one of the most popular cars out there. All the way through to the 80s the Impala was Chevrolets highest selling full size car with the earlier models getting some of the highest sells over all the manufacturers at that time. The cool 1970 Chevrolet Impala you see here is in great condition and drives very well. Multiple components were just gone through and replaced to insure you can turn the key and go. It is a 2 owner classic with the original owner keeping it for 41 years before letting it go. It has been well cared for its entire life and never misses a needed tune up or upgrade. The car is very straight and is topped in a smooth Butternut Yellow. This combined with all that stainless and chrome creates a great look. All of the stainless is nicely mounted in place with all the emblems being brand new. The bumpers are in good condition with no pitting or cracking. All of the glass is in good condition including the rear glass in the Black cloth top. The top raises and lowers with no issues and is all power assisted. The car has a very solid stance and looks great cruising down the road on the original style wheels and hubcaps with brand new thin white wall tires. The 350 V8 under the hood of this classic runs very well and has no issues. It has been done in the original style with all of the components being painted Black or Chevrolet Orange. Everything is in good working condition except for the AC compressor. However, all of the other AC components are in place and working. The car drives really easily with power steering and power brakes. Another brand new part includes the battery to insure a smooth start every time. The interior of the car is complete in all Black and is in great condition. The front split bench seat is very comfortable and allows plenty of leg room. The seats are all power assisted as are the windows. The dash is in all original style condition and even houses the working factory AM/FM radio. The original style wood grain accents are in nicely mounted in place and in good shape. The only non-original component would be the added tachometer below the dash. The trunk of the car is complete with cut to fit carpeting and houses the full size spare with hubcap. This is one smooth classic that you will love driving.
