Motoexotica is proud to offer a very rare prototype Mustang. This 2005 Ford Mustang Terlingua is a one off creation from the team at Retrobuilt. This is a very special car since there will never be another built like it. It was built as a prototype to show Bill Neale (original member of the team that created the Terlingua) to get his ok to build a Terlingua version of the Retrobuilt Mustangs. He gave his ok as long as there was the 4ft tall rabbit on the hood, no hood scoop and the cars had to be yellow. If you dont know about Retrobuilt, youre missing out on the next big Mustang customizer. Retrobuilt is an Official Licensee of Carroll Shelby Licensing, Inc. Each and every car comes with its own Retrobuilt serial number, Dash Plaque, and Certificate of Authenticity. Every car they produce will be included in the registry, thus becoming a truly collectible Retrobuilt Mustang for years to come. What Retrobuilt does is take your 2005-2011 Ford Mustang and transform it into a 69 Shelby or Mach1 Mustang by using custom fiberglass panels, true steel bumpers from 1969 as well as door handles, rear window louvers, Carroll Shelby wheels, custom exhaust and retro tail light covers. This particular car comes with the racing package as well which includes a Pro Charger supercharger with intercooler and a special suspension package. The owner of Retrobuilt has been using this car as his show car for the last year. The car has made trips as far away as Sturgis South Dakota for the Motorcycle rally to the All Ford Show in Tulsa Oklahoma. With over 20,000 miles of flawless performance in the last year, the car has stood all the tests that he could throw at it with flying colors. The paint is in great condition and was done to a professional, extremely high standard. The paint looks as good as it would if it came from the factory. No imperfections to note and is finished with a red hood, mirrors and stripe going to the rear. The front bumper is an authentic 1969 Chrome Mustang bumper as well as the rear. The body panels added to the car go over the doors but replace the front hood and fenders. The rear deck lid is also new. All of these modifications actually takes away 58 lbs from the original weight of the car, transferring some of the weight distribution to the rear. The fit and finish of the car is as good as you will see. Perfect lines on every panel and door seam. Inside, the car has been updated with leather seats with suede inserts. The same pattern carries over to the door panels which look great. The A and B pillars have also been wrapped with leather. Red stitching on the seats and door panels look great and is a great touch. There has been an aftermarket boost gauge installed to keep track of the supercharger. Under the hood, the stock V8 has had an aftermarket ProCharger installed with intercooler. The car has a two stage programmer that can bring the car up to nearly 500 horsepower at the second stage. A new dual exhaust system has been installed from Flowmaster as well to give this Mustang an amazing sound it deserves.
