This is a gorgeous 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback with a 302 V8 from a 1986 Mustang. The engine has been upgraded with a 4 Barrel Holley Carb., Ford Performance Heads, Mild Cam, Headers, and Dual Magnaflow Exhaust. A T5 conversion to the Manual transmission makes this a 5 speed with a 9 inch rear end and 350 gear on a big block Spider differential. The Suspension has been upgraded to Koni with Heavy Duty leaf springs from a 1969 Boss 302. 4 Piston Kelsey Hayes front disk brakes and 2.5 Inch Shelby rear brakes give this hotrod some stopping power. The fenders have been flared with Maier racing flairs, Maier racing quarter windows repace the glass, and Maier functional Shelby side scoops were added. A 1966 Shelby GT350H Steel framed fiberglass hood covers the engine. The interior has been completely refurbished and 1969 high back seats were installed. This pony car is a thoroughbred having lots of torque in the low end and plenty of horses at the reigns. This Mustang drives beautifully shifts smooth and cruises down the road like a dream.
