This 1948 Ford Deluxe Coupe is a charmer. With what is believed to be the actual original paint, the car shows very well. The interior was redone in the period correct mohair, with the true original pattern. The interior is perfect, from the headliner to the door panels and the seats. The underside is clean, rust free and intact with no repair panels. The motor is a flathead Ford V-8 with Edelbrock performance heads. Transmission is the stock 3 speed and stock Ford banjo rear end. Steering and stopping is easy and true. Since May of 2012, the following has been done:
New wiring harness, converted to 12 volt system
New electric fuel pump
New Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor
New wide white wall radial Goodrich Silvertown tires, including the spare
All gauges have been reconditioned
Original radio has been rebuilt, includes a foot controlled pedel to change the stations
Clock has been rebuilt
Electric cooling fan installed
Optima Performance battery
New alternator
New headlights & turn signals
Third brake light
