Originally assembled October 10, 1973, this 1974 Corvette 454 is in nice condition, and is LOADED with factory options. This cars paint looks to be recent, and is in very good condition with a beautiful, rich shine. A 1980-82 rear bumper has been added to this car, and appears to have been professionally installed. Exterior door handles look to be older or original, and are in good condition with no function issues or major finish issues. The weatherstripping on the doors looks to be recent, and is in very good condition> all other weatherstripping appears to be original. Taillights are in overall very good condition. Exterior emblems look to be recent, and are in very good condition with no fading. Rally wheels are in very good condition as well, and wear good condition trim rings and center caps. BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires show an average of 7/32nds tread depth remaining in the front, and an average of 6/32nds remaining in the rear. The interior of this 1974 Corvette 454 shows recent loop carpet, deluxe door panels, leather seat covers, and dash pad, all in very good to excellent condition. Steering wheel and center console are in good condition. Gauges are in overall good condition, with very good condition lenses on the speedometer and tachometer, and no fading on the tachometers redline. Center console gauges look to be original/unrestored, and a Pioneer DEH-1400 CD stereo has been added in place of the original AM/FM unit. GM seatbelts appear to be original, and are in overall good condition. Other interior additions include a pair of Rampage speakers (attached to the storage bins), center console armrest pad, reproduction cutpile floor mats, fire extinguisher, universal indoor cover, and a canvas t-top carrying bag. The numbers matching engine in this 1974 Corvette 454 shows June 27, 1973, and final assembly date August 3, 1973. Additions to this engine include a Pro-Flo style air cleaner, polished Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock Torker II 2.0 aluminum intake manifold, Hooker Super Comp coated longtube headers, MSD Blaster 2 ignition coil, and chrome valve covers. The engine block, heads, water outlet, master cylinder, and breathers have been painted red. Factory air conditioning system appears to have been removed. Although there is no documentation to support it, this engine appears to have had a performance rebuild at some point, and should put out considerably more than the 275hp that it was originally rated at. Frame is solid and rust-free. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
