1949 Buick Custom When it comes to custom classics the more unique the better and there is nothing more unique than the vintage cars from the 40s. The 1949 Buick in particular had some extreme bodylines that you just dont see in cars from 2012. As if they were custom looking enough this 49 Custom has has the roof chopped 2, the trunk lid sectioned 5 and more! Little touches like the side posts being leaned forward 2 create an awesome appearance that looks great cruising down the road. It is coated in a nice Kandy Apple Red that is damage free and has a very clean finish. The front bumper is all custom made and is slightly overlapping the original style grill. It along with the rear bumpers are nicely chromed and mounted in place. The stainless side trim is very cleanly done and run the length of the entire side of the car. To both sides of the front fenders are custom inset 1956 Buick port holes that are chromed and look like they should have been there from the factory. The headlights have been custom frenched in with the LED taillights custom mounted as well. They arent frenched but have been inset into the body and utilize dark red lenses to make them disappear unless they are lit up. The body sits on a Rivera framed that has been redesigned to fit the car perfectly. On all four corners you will find polished Billet Specialties wheels with nice Toyo tires (18x8-rear, 16x7-front.) Powering up this classic is much more than your stock 49 Buick motor. Under the hood is a 2000 all aluminum Corvette LS1. It is topped with custom valve covers that are painted burgundy Buick LS-1 done in custom old school lettering. It is the perfect complement to the modern motor. The firewall has been filled & molded and is all painted Black. Continuing with the upgraded drive train is the 2000 Corvette 4L60E transmission that shifts with no issues. The interior is finished out in all Black and custom done in leather by John Carr. If you have ever been into Cadillacs you may notice something familiar. The seats and center console were all customized from a 1998 Cadillac Eldorado to fit this car. The console feeds nicely into the original dash which has been smoothed and filled. The console houses extra storage, an AM/FM/Cassette player, power window controls, and the Vintage AC controls. The automatic shifter is nicely housed in a Woodgrain bezel that looks great. The dash has all been kept clean and only houses the glove box and frenched in Dakota Digital gauges. The car has a great sounding stereo which is cleanly routed throughout with high quality Bose components and speakers. A 6 CD changer is mounted in the trunk which is finished out nicely as well in Black carpeting. The car comes with a custom show sign and build book. The sign is very cool and is a shout out to the Vintage hotrodders being all pinstriped and done in vintage sign lettering. Add this custom to your collection for only $74,500.00! TRADES CONSIDERED!
