The body is a Gibbons and the running boards are steel with steel frame supports. Not like some running boards you see,there is no problem standing on them to enter/exit the car. The frame is a TCI with Pete & Jakes 4 bar suspension front and rear with Pete & Jakes front shocks. Front axle is a tube style dropped. New Aldan coil over shocks in the rear. Transmission is turbo 350. Rear end is an 8” Ford, with drum brakes. Front brakes are 11” GM disc.and the brake system is fed by a GM dual reservoir master cylinder. Engine is a 305 Chevy, stock cam (smooth idle) with Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm carb. Billet valve covers, Air cleaner and plug looms. Engine has block hugger Sanderson exhaust manifolds with chrome extensions to Flow Master mufflers. Engine ignition is Mallory breakerless with external coil. Fuel is supplied by a frame mounted electric fuel pump from the trunk mounted 10 gallon fuel tank. Car wiring is Ron Francis complete with circuit board and a VDO early ford instrument cluster and bezel. Steering system consists of a new Uni-Steer polished ½ rack and an Ididit Shorty steering column with column cable shifter and a Carrera leather wheel. The car top( Rojas Upholstery, Stockton , CA ) has zippered side curtains and is less than a year old. Trailer is custom made RLL brand with straight leaf spring axle. Car was painted by Jim Ramirez in Stockton, CA. and the paint is at least a 9 out of 10. The pink is a CA, 1927 Ford title. The car is straight as an arrow and runs down the hiway perfectly. Car has many trophies, Best of show, HAN 1st runner-up, Best Paint etc. etc.. Matching trailer is included, see pics.
