This Factory Five Shelby Cobra replica was built to exacting specifications as a purpose built race car. The exterior is Lime green and the interior is silver with blue seats. This stunning Shelby Cobra replica was built by Levy Racing as a Factory Five Challenge car for street and track in 2001. It was purchased and highly modified by racers in Tucson, AZ and it was raced successfully in the 2006 and 2007 NASA AZ Division Super Unlimited Class.
The Cobra includes a small block 374 C. I. Dart 12.5 to 1 compression endurance race engine, a Jerico 4 speed magnesium cased transmission thats been recently rebuilt, a 4 stage Peterson Dry Sump, Jones Racing HTD pulleys, and Ohlins fully adjustable shocks with remote nitrogen reservoirs. It also comes with a Quartermaster 5.5 triple disk racing clutch with brand new disks and floaters, a super light Powermaster racing alternator, a Quartermaster reverse mounted Ultrastarter, custom heat exchanger for oil cooling, custom made powder coated cockpit panels, and custom made 17/8" McCabe racing headers, collectors, and quick change side pipes (there are one set of straight pipes and one set of augur muffler pipes).
The accessories are plentiful! They include a Woodward quick release collapsible steering column (which is wired for cool suit and data logger), a custom offset mounted Fuel Safe, custom radiator mounting, an Spal hp fan, a Firebottle 5lb halon fire suppression system, a quick detach carbon fiber valance splitter, Nomex belly pans, carbon fiber wing, a carbon fiber dash, lightweight Spa Le Mans mirrors, Coleman alloy 5x5 Grand National hubs, custom control arms, custom watts linkage, AP racing 6 piston brakes, 2 sets of two piece alloy race wheels, a 9 rear end with highly a polished ring pinion, transmission differential coolers, a Tilton pedal set, custom billet reservoirs, a driver's side seat halo, custom Kirkey Air Weave seat covers, and more! This Shelby is fully caged and even includes a Speedway Engineering custom sway bar!
