A unusually good early MGB.........
Excellent rust free chassis/body, perfect floors, battery boxes, sills, rails, very good black paint, all new interior with black leather seats (with white piping), new top and tonneau, rebuilt engine and trans, rebuil brakes and suspension, a lot of new new chrome and trim, new chrome wire wheels.............truly one of the best early Bs we have ever had.
Currently fitted with a downdraft Weber carb (and runs sweetly) but we can convert, if a buyer prefers, back to twin SU carbs.
180 psi compression in every cylinder, 75 psi oil pressure, no smoke, excellent gearbox with virtually silent first gear, excellent synchromesh, rust free trunk floor, excellent dash, switches, covering, great sounding Monza twin pipe exhaust, etc.
Runs and drives like new. And really outstanding in black with new chrome wire wheels (@$365 each). If you don't know about these early Bs, they were (and are) wonderful sports cars.....98hp high compression engine, 105 mph top speed, great steering, shifting, ride, braking, and a solid feel due, no doubt, to their all welded monocoque construction.
The car spent all of is life in Idaho and seems to have always been garaged and pampered. For the money, there really isn't ANY better classic British sports car.
