Be the envy of everyone at car shows this summer with this unbelievably restored, low mileage Oldsmobile F-85 Club Coupe. Finished in Vista Blue, with a coordinating light blue interior, this classic will be the pride of any collector. With only 21,000 original miles, this car looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, and runs and drives like new.
Originally purchased in Fort Bragg, California, this black plate car was sold from Ruel Eubank Oldsmobile, and remained a one-owner car until 2005. The original window sticker indicates that the car was equipped with the following optional equipment:
Soft-ray tinted windshield glass
Foam padded front seat cushion
Windshield washer and 2-speed wipers
Oil filter
Hydra-matic drive
15 inch wheels and tires – black sidewall
Backup lights
Deluxe radio
In 2009, a complete restoration of the car was performed, including the following mechanical and cosmetic work:
Complete disassembly of rust-free body, soda blasting, and laser straight application of paint
Rechroming of front and rear bumpers
Replacement of brakes and wheel cylinders
Replacement of windshield wiper motor
Replacement of all soft body seals, including trunk, doors, etc.
Complete resealing of engine, including oil pan, water pump, fuel pump, and valve covers
Transmission service including flush, new fluid and filter
Replacement of tires and wheels (original steel wheels and hubcaps provided with sale)
In addition, the rear package tray, carpeting, and door kick panels were replaced. With the exception of these items, the interior is completely original and stock. A detailed photographic history of all stages of restoration was maintained and will be provided with sale. Also included with sale is much of the car’s original documentation, including the window sticker, owner operating manual, “1963 Oldsmobile F-85 & Jetfire Pre-Delivery and 1,000 Mile Inspection” sheet, and the 1963 Oldsmobile Owner Protection Plan including Protect-o-Plate.
