Description

Frame-off restoration ... Flawless Ermine White exterior ... GMPP ZZ4 350 CID V-8 ... Tremec TKO 5-speed with Hurst shifter ... Magnaflow dual exhaust ...
Chevrolet marked its introduction into the muscle car arena with its first generation of Chevelles, which debuted in 1964. Its nimble size and crisp styling were the perfect complement to its ever-more-powerful engine lineup. And when equipped with the “Super Sport” option, its top of the line Malibu sported bucket seats and center console, among other unique styling cues.
This stunning frame-off restored 1965 Malibu SS is an original “138” code car and is finished in Ermine White. Its flawless finish has a mirror-like luster that is further enhanced by show quality chrome. Its interior shows equally well with its Red bucket seats and center console. Its factory tachometer, clock and gauge package complete the look, and its AM/FM radio provide added enjoyment.
Under the hood is a brand new GM Performance Parts ZZ4 350 CID V-8 featuring 355 HP and 405 ft./lbs. of torque, mated to a brand new Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission with Hurst Shifter. Other performance upgrades include the following:
Holley Street HP 4 barrel carburetor
March Performance serpentine system
Be Cool radiator
Hedman headers
Magnaflow performance dual exhaust
Eaton posi-traction 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears
Auto Meter auxiliary gauges have bypassed the original gauges, but the originals can be reconnected in the future is so desired. This car’s power steering and power front disk brakes further enhance the driving experience. Having just 200 miles on the engine, this car runs and drives as well as it looks.
In addition to being an exhilarating performer, if showing is your pleasure, this car will not disappoint. No detail was overlooked in its recent frame-off restoration; its undercarriage shows as well as the rest of the car.
Included with sale is a binder with documents relating to the car. In addition to the original owner’s manual and sales brochure, the original radio and steering wheel will also be provided to the next owner.
If a highly desirable muscle car with the looks of yesterday and the performance of today is what you desire, this Malibu SS is for you!
