There are just a few classic cars that everyone knows. Among these is the classic Thunderbird. This iconic car was put out by Ford and cemented itself in the history books. These cars are so popular that Thunderbirds are still being produced and are continuing to be popular cars. This classic 1963 T-Bird is all original and coated in two tone Red and Ivory. The look of the car is awesome with fins running down each side and a unique looking front end. The style of these classics is why almost 50 years later people are still saying how cool they look. This classic is mechanically sound and with some minor rust repair in the rocker panels this thing would really turn some heads. The car has the correct chrome trim running down the fins, around the doors, around the hood, and around the windows. The bumpers along with this trim all have a great shine and are all in place. Chasing down 15 feet of trim for the fins isnt something you want to do so have no worries there. The large round taillights are built into the bumpers and work just as they should. Its amazing to think about how much time and design went into just the trim to grace one of these light lenses. The fender skirts are in place on the car which totally change up the look and can easily be added or removed. The car has a great look and rides on a set of the original style wheels and hubcaps with white line tires. Powering up this vintage Ford is a 390 V8 that is very nicely finished out. All of the mechanical on the car has been gone through to insure a smooth ride with no problems. The car never misses an oil change and always gets a tune up when needed. You wont see a bunch of chrome, skulls and flames under the hood of this car because that just wouldnt be right for this car. All of the components are nicely finished off with a coat of Black for a nice clean appearance. The engine compartment and firewall are just as nicely finished off being all painted with nicely mounted wires and hoses. The 4 barrel carburetor is adjusted for a nice smooth idle and is topped with the nicely finished air cleaner. The Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission shifts very smoothly and with overdrive make highway driving a breeze. Moving onto the interior you will find the all original stylings dreamed up by the Ford Motor Company. The original center console is mounted in place and houses the power window controls. A single ribbed style trim piece runs up the console then branches out to each side of the dash. This trim then runs down the door panels and is where you will find the door panels. The AC/Heat controls are chrome and mounted in the center of the dash and have a great nostalgic look. The car utilizes all original knobs, switches, and gauges which all work just as they should. This is a smooth running classic that you will love to drive. It has plenty of rear passenger room so the car would be ideal for a hotrodding family. This car is in mechanically good condition. The body is straight, but the paint is showing its age. the car can be driven and enjoyed as is or can be turned into a real nice showpiece with some cosmetic work.
