1984 Lamborghini Countach VIN: ZA9C00500ELA12691 First in Class (Lamborghini) at the 2013 Marin Sonoma Concours dElegance An icon of automotive design, the Lamborghini Countach rewrote the rules by which all supercars where measured. This 8305-mile example expresses the most familiar form of the striking Marcello Gandini design. This Countach was in a climate-controlled automotive storage facility in Indianapolis from about 1999 to 2009. The most recent owner purchased the car, and set about bringing the bull back to life. In 2011 a $7500 service was performed that included rebuilding all 6 carburetors, RR of the rear axles, complete fluids change, RR water pump assembly, new cooling hoses, rear heim joints, and a 4 wheel alignment. Everything you need to get a V12 powered Countach back in fighting form. The Countach has been mechanically inspected and cosmetically detailed by Canepa to ensure it meets our world-class standards. The originality of this car allowed us to easily detail this classic to a concours level. From the undercarriage to the interior, the body to the chassis every part of the car is as clean and bright as the day it left the factory in SantAgata Bolognese. We also engaged in some small mechanical restoration to ensure that the Countach will present in as-new condition. And for those who miss the rear wing, have no fear...the car comes with its original rear wing in excellent condition, and ready to be reinstalled if wished.
