1 of only 2600 Ford Cabriolets built in 1932. This car (called the Mike Cox Cabriolet) was built in NC circa 1959. Updated in 1963 with the existing 327 fuelie engine. In this same update came the 4 speed T-10 Corvette transmission and the Ford differential. Existing gold paint also dates from Mike's original Build. Car is still wearing its early set of Hedman headers. Rolled and pleated upholstery also dates from the original build. Mike Cox kept the car for several decades. In the 2005 the car was bought by Les Temple, who recomissioned it and used it for some years before selling it to the current owner. The Dashboad is 40 Ford, most guages origional SUN, including tach. Fuellie motor is currently carbeurated. Performance is breathtaking with a 380 rear. All brakes and hydralic cylinders have been rebuilt. Tires are Coker bias tires. Top is tan Haartz cloth. Fuel cell is modern.
