This cars paint appears to be an older high quality job, and is in good to very good condition, with a nice shine. Side and rear glass show correct date codes. Weatherstripping looks to be slightly older, but is still somewhat soft and in very good condition overall. Exterior door handles look like they might be original, and are in good to very good condition with no rubbing issues. Taillights are in very good to excellent condition with no cracks. This car wears a set of slotted aluminum wheels, which are in good condition with BRAND NEW center caps in very good to excellent condition. Tires are BRAND NEW BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter, showing full tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1981 Corvette shows BRAND NEW correct pattern seat covers and steering wheel in very good to excellent condition. Door panels are in good to very good condition, as is the center console. Cutpile carpet looks to be an older replacement, and is in good condition. A Jensen XCD 9722 CD stereo has been installed in place of the original stereo, and a custom box with four additional speakers sits in the rear cargo area. Red t-top bags and strap are included. The numbers matching engine in this 1981 Corvette shows original casting date January 31, 1981. Correct intake manifold, carburetor, valve covers, and air cleaner are all in place. Frame is solid and rust-free, and the air conditioning blows cold with good airflow. Cruise control is not currently working. Recent work to this car includes new belts, master cylinder and rear brake calipers, rebuilt power steering system, and resealing of the valve cover gaskets. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
