This is a beautiful XR7 convertible. It was fully restored in 2005. I am listing as "mostly" restored, because some electic issues (detailed below) have come up since then. This rare convertable is still excellent mechanically and cosmetically. The white leather interior is beautiful. Over $35,000 in restoration completed in 2005. Appraised in 2005 for $32,500.

This car was my Dad's baby. The car was garaged, covered, and rarely driven from 2005 to 2010. When I inherited the car in 2010, I had some work done including replacing the power steering ram, drove it from Las Vegas to California, and put on new wheels and tires. I keep it covered in the garage and have driven it about once per month since.
Though the car is excellent mechanically and cosmetically, it does have some electrical issues for you to attend to. The Odometer reads 62,400, but stopped turning on the drive back to CA. Still, the rebuilt engine easily has less than 5,000 miles on it. I had the AC serviced last summer, but it is not working currently, and the radio doesn't work. The rear lights have a series of 3 lights on each side that blink in succession for the turn signal. The driver's side one works great, but on the passenger side all the lights light up but blink twice.
The paint is still in great condition, but there are 3-4 nicks and a bubble in the rear fender section.
I've enjoyed this car and was pleased to see my son take it to his senior prom, but I'm ready to pass this baby on to a new enthusiast. If that's you, please let me know!
