DISCOVER CLASSIC CARS is very pleased to offer you this 1959 EDSEL CORSAIR 2 DOOR HARDTOP! Now this isnt a car youre going to see every day...it was only produced for three years (1958-1960) and only 118,287 were built.
The Edsel endeavor wasnt a fruitful one for Ford, the public wasnt as receptive as was believed they would be and in the end, Ford lost $350 million dollars. Name choice, mechanical and design issues, price point and many other factors played a part into the failure of the Edsel. Fewer than 6,000 have survived these 50+ years and these have become highly desirable among vintage car collectors.
Finished in Turquoise with a White hardtop, this Edsel shows quite well. There are very few blemishes in the paint that take away from the great look this classic has. Some of the chrome isnt perfect, namely the rear bumper. Please view the photographs below or call us for details. This Edsel was treated to a complete frame-on restoration which included a brand new interior. The seats are in near perfect condition, with a small tear on the passenger side of the rear seat. There are many original parts on this Ford and it really is an eye-catcher thats bound to make for some great conversation anywhere you cruise in this!!
