One of only 18 left drive Rolls-Royce versions of the aluminum bodied Flying Spur Sport Saloons built 1963-1966, this remarkably well preserved, never damaged specimen was acquired buy us through a well reputed European agent from the original owner's Paris, France estate in January 2006 still wearing its original Shell Grey over Black finish complimented by bright Blue Connolly hides. It was a well serviced excellent performer, a welcome addition to our inventory. The odometer reading, known to be accurate, was 72,211 kilometers (43,326 miles).
It was supplied to an enthusiastic client in late March who immediately commissioned a high quality restoration, completed in January, 2007 after which it as shown and greatly admired at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in March, newly finished for the first time ever in Velvet Green lacquer complimented by Champagne Connolly hides. As part of the refurbishments very efficient and attractive roof ducted air conditioning as found in the one-off Bentley BC22LXC was incorporated. The original build records indicate that this well equipped example was supplied with power window lifts to all four doors and the seldom seen rear picnic table option.
It has been well maintained but has seen limited use as part of an extensive local collection. The present odometer reading is 73,201 KM (45,751 miles), an increase of only 2,245 miles over the past six years.
Complete tools, the small ones in their original Mulliner box, correct handbook and copies of the factory records and first owner's service files accompany the vehicle.
