This is an extremely Original 69 442 4-speed muscle car. It has numbers matching Muncie wide ratio transmission, and matching 400 cid engine with D heads. It has the original exterior color code 51 (Trophy Blue) with light blue striping, original color code 51 (Trophy Blue) bucket seat/console interior, 4 speed Hurst with T handle shifter, and 15 inch SS III wheels (body color) with new BF Goodrich Red Line tires (P215 65R15). This is a frame-on restoration. All sheet metal was stripped down to bare, with minor repair in the rear quarters. The Paint is DuPont ChromaBase with hood stripes under the clear coat. All stainless brightwork was removed and highly polished, or replaced. New windshield was installed and all rubber gaskets and weather stripping seals replaced. Front and rear bumpers were rechromed. Front end suspension was rebuilt, with gloss black powder coating on components. Power disc brakes were added to the front. New clutch set, clutch rod, and flywheel installed. Positraction rear differential refreshed with new pinion seal as well as new transmission tail shaft seal. The interior is complete with new carpet, seat covers cushions, head liner, door panels, sail panels, rear package tray, and hardware. The Dash was freshened with the correct color trim paints and dyes. All underfloor and interior sheetmetal are covered with Dynamat sound deadener sheets. Dash contains the original Tic-Tac-Clock, and a custom made insert holds an iPod ready stereo head unit. Steering wheel is a rare, Wood trim Rally Sport version.
