This 1968 Ford Mustang GT is a 3 owner car that was ordered by a Viet Nam soldier who picked the car up upon his return from overseas. In 1968, the Mustang introduced several changes including the new 302 cid engine, turn signals integrated into the hood, the GT Mustang emblem, GT hubcaps, and quad exhaust tips on all V-8 cars. Other first intro features included the rearview mirror now attached to the windshield, the word “Mustang” in script style letters instead of block letters and the word “Ford” was removed from the hood.
This all original car (except for one repaint in the original color) is Royal Maroon with a black bucket seat console interior. The interior is in immaculate condition. The driver’s seat was replaced due to slight wear. The rest of the new and correct interior kit will come with the sale of this car. Engine is the original 302 cid with a mild cam and automatic transmission. This Mustang GT features power front disc brakes, 9” rear Positraction, H pipe with Flowmasters and dual exhaust.
This car has been meticulously maintained and always garaged. All original paperwork and documentation comes with this car. It is located in NC.
