Available for a fraction of the build cost, this fantastic 32 Ford highboy roadster is an incredibly versatile hot rod with a bunch of cool features you wont find anywhere else. The highboy roadster is a tradition in the hot rodding world, but not many are finished to this level. It looks like it has seen only a fraction of the 12,000 or so indicated miles, and is probably fresh enough to collect more than a few trophies, even today. The perfectly proportioned bodywork retains all of the Deuces muscular curves and draping them in brilliant, vivid red that seems to scream off the bodyworks surfaces. A subtle yellow pinstripe adds interest, while the steel hoods four rows of louvers are a fresh take on a traditional look. A billet grille, big headlights, and a Vd spreader bar give it a unique look up front, separating it from the other 32s out there, while the 39 Ford taillights are a popular finishing touch. Creamy soft tan leather fills the upscale interior, breaking with tradition and delivering a luxurious feel that is probably commensurate with the cost of the build. Sculpted door panels offer a flame motif, while deep carpets control heat and noise inside the roadsters cabin. A simple 3-spoke track-style steering wheel looks right, especially wrapped in more of that tan leather, and the handsome Stewart-Warner gauges are separated by more hand-painted yellow pinstripes. Other controls, such as the lights and ignition, as well as the shifter for the TH350 3-speed automatic, are housed in a custom mini-console that tucks neatly up under the dash. The trunk offers plenty of storage, a remote-mount battery, and has been upholstered to match the interior. Overhead, thats a lift-off top that offers the look of a folding soft top but without the flapping canvas and scratched bodywork. Power is delivered by a 350 Chevy, fully dressed for show under the hood of this highboy. Billet valve covers, chrome accessories, and an Edelbrock carb ensure that anyone looking under the hood will be suitably impressed. A big aluminum radiator with electric fan keeps the hot small block cool under all conditions, and block-hugging ceramic headers do their part to keep heat out of the engine bay. The reinforced chassis offers a dropped axle up front, complete with hairpins and a transverse leaf spring, while out back, a smoothed Ford 9-inch hangs on a set of coilovers on a 4-link setup. Flowmaster mufflers sound flat-out awesome behind the small block, and dump into cool turndowns just behind the axle. Staggered 15-inch front and 17-inch rear Torque Thrusts offer a traditional look with a modern twist, and wear 165/15 front and 275/60/17 rear tires. This slick Deuce also includes a beautifully crafted utility trailer that has been custom painted to match and topped with a canvas tonneau, so you wont even give a second thought to long-distance cruising. You couldnt build this car for twice the asking price, especially with all the extras. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom.
