Sold by us five years ago, now back and in even better condition.....excellent drive train, rust free, show quality BRG paint, all new interior (black with white piping), wire wheels, new chrome, new top, driving lights on original style mounting brackets, beautifully detailed dashboard, new exhaust system, a top quaility MGA ready for show or fun driving.
The Mk II was the last and the best of the MGA series with less than 9,000 built our of 101,000 MGAs. Its 1622cc engine was the largest displacement of all MGA engines, had the highest compression ratio of all B series BMC engines, and with disc brakes, around 90hp, excellent ride and handling, its beautiful flowing lines, truly one of the very best British sports cars of its era.
This car hs been fitted with a new wiring harness, mostly new electricals, new distributor, rebuilt carbs, trunk carpeting, had a good pair of side curtains, really excellent 'underneath' with rot free wood floors and excellent chassis rails.
Can guarantee a first place prize at a serious show but is certainly sufficiently clean to warrant entry into most any local show. But MGAs were meant to be driven and this example is superb in every way.
