This three-owner, 65,985 mile original 1963 Studebaker Avanti R2 is an incredible un-restored example with the ultra-desirable 4-speed manual transmission. Refinished at some point in its life in an attractive shade of Medium Red Metallic with a coordinating interior, the car presents very well. The car is very well documented back to its second and third owners in the late 1960s and throughout the 1970s as well as many recent maintenance records documenting many recent repairs and improvements. At some point in the car's life, the supercharger and related parts were removed, yet the engine remains the solid-lifter R2 with the correct casting numbers throughout. If someone wanted to return this R2 to its correct specification, they could and would have an absolutely-correct car in every respect; otherwise, it can be driven as-is without complaint, the car drives very well with its new radial whitewall tires at highway speeds. Getting harder and harder to find particularly with a 4-speed, this Studebaker Avanti R2 is ready for its next owner to continue enjoying for the next 49 years.
