This 1957 Mercury Monterey two-door hardtop is finished in Classic White over Desert Tan (Coral) with a contrasting Black and White interior over a very straight and solid body festooned with plenty of beautiful chrome and brightwork. The car is most-notably optioned with the high-performance "Turnpike Cruiser" 368 cubic-inch, 290 horsepower V-8 backed up by a push-button automatic transmission and is further equipped with wide white wall tires, tissue dispenser, power steering and power brakes. This rare and largely-original car is just in from a collection in coastal Massachusetts. Certainly the best '57-'58 Merc' we have ever had in our collection.
