1970 LS-5 El Camino 63,249 orig miles. The drivetrain is original to the car, engine and trans have the matching vin numbers and rear end has the correct code for 3:08 12 bolt. The car has just been painted, and all the exterior trim has been reconditioned or replaced. The interior is bucket seat console with dealer installed A/C, has new carpets, headliner, door panels and console. The rest of the interior is original. The engine was removed, the engine compartment was painted, and the timing chain and the water pump were replaced. I believe the carb is original, but I haven't actually checked #s on it. The engine has never been apart, and runs perfectly, with no smoke on start up or under acceleration. The transmission is an M-20 with Hurst linkage. We looked everywhere on the car and could not find the build sheet. This car is Marina blue, it was a bench seat non console car, and is now bucket seat console. Very nice car. LOW MILES LS-5's are hard to come by these days.
