This car was professionally restored by The Mustang Shop in Auburn, WA. The restoration was completed this past August and the car has been garaged and driven less then 10 miles since. The car was not rotiseried as the undercarriage was in good condition (see photos)
The car has been repainted in Wimbledon white and it was originally Seafoam green. The original motor has been replaced with a completely rebuilt 302-2V. The original C4 was also replaced with a rebuilt C4. The original vinyl top was replaced with a higher quality $1,600.00 cloth top. The interior is the standard style interior and was completely restored in black and it received a Custom Auto Sound AM/FM radio. The vehicle has factory power steering.
Although it is not a real GT, it has received numerous GT appointments during the restoration. These include fog lamps, power front disc brakes, GT fender badges, GT wheel center caps, GT pop-open gas cap, dual exhaust and a wood steering wheel (real wood not ‘woodgrain’).
The car has a Colorado title. I took possession of the car before it was restored as collateral for a loan that I made to a friend when he was unable to repay the loan.
